Today I tried my best to eat/drink as much protein as I could. I was told I wasn't getting near enough so today I got about 180 grams of it. I am hoping it was enough to help stabilize me a little better. I have been struggling with going up and I kept thinking I was eating more calories. But here I am at 1:00 after eating all those calories and I'm hungry! Crazy... maybe more protein will bode well for me on the scales tomorrow... Interesting...

I added in Almond milk today. I am really hoping I do well with it because I have some nice Almond chocolate milk (unsweetened) and some almond flour I want to do. I am feeling really good about today and I hope the scale is nice to me.

I changed my LIW from 126.8 to 127.6 since I have been seeing that number over and over on the scale. I just don't want to stress about stabilizing so much and to be honest, if I would have used this LIW, I would have only been outside my "safety zone" one time and that time was because of my cheat day. Very interesting... :) The more I think about it, the happier I am with the decision to raise my LIW. My reasoning is that I did the Atkins Fat Fast during the last week of P2 and that caused my body to lose about 1.6, which I gained back after a few days anyway. So my body was confused about my LIW and so I went back to my weight before the fat fast.

That is enough for tonight but hoping you all have wonderful dreams tonight and a good day tomorrow!

Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cubed
2 large egg yolks
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice, plus more
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Fill a blender with hot water; set aside. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until foaming. Remove pan from heat. Drain blender and dry well. Put egg yolks and 2 Tbsp. lemon juice in blender; cover and blend to combine. Working quickly and with blender running, remove lid insert and slowly pour hot butter into blender in a thin stream of droplets, discarding the milk solids in bottom of the saucepan. Blend until creamy sauce forms. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and with more lemon juice. Serve immediately.

Cinnamon Maple Butter

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 Tbsp. Walden Farms maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon vanilla (can use more)
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)

Directions:
Mix, spread and enjoy!

Phase 3 - Day #13

Current Weight (LIW): 128.8 lbs. (+0.6)
From LIW: +2.0

Breakfast: Tea with Cream
Dinner: 16 oz. Porterhouse Steak and Apple(s) ya, I ate more than my allotted amount.
Snack: Tea with Cream

Steak day today. Hoping it does something. I had a few extra bites of apple because mine was really grainy so I ran to the store to get another one. Well, that one happened to be grainy to but I ate it anyway. Blerg. I was looking forward to that apple all day.

Welp, I'll let ya know if the steak day does it's magic tomorrow. More and more I am considering changing my LIW to 127.4 or so because it seems I am stabilizing higher than my 126.8. Something to think about...

Have a great night!

This is how I feel today...

Guess its time for another steak day...
